  • FFmpeg 3.1 Is Primed With New Features: Includes H.264/HEVC VA-API Encoding
    FFmpeg 3.1.0 is now available with the latest features for this widely-used open-source multimedia library. FFmpeg 3.1 brings DXVA2-accelerated HEVC Main10 decoding for Windows users, a variety of new filters, MediaCodec H.264 decoding, new muxers/demuxers, VA-API accelerated H.264/HEVC/MJPEG encoding, an OpenMAX IL encoder with support for the Raspberry Pi, OpenEXR improvements, and a range of other improvements.
