To begin the KDE 3.5 release cycle, I uploaded KDE 3.5 Alpha 1 to the FTP servers. We're facing some trouble that is typical for an Alpha release, but it also brings some nice KDE 3.5 features to your desktop.

I develop some code in kdelibs (mostly libkdecore) and I am currently the maintainer of the low-level networking code. I have also contributed to the ioslaves, as an extension of my own networking framework, and a bit regarding encodings/Unicode-issues.

KDE 3.4.2: Just around the bend

KDE 3.4.2 was tagged a couple days ago and will probably be unleashed onto the general public on or about July 27. This release may not contain any new obvious eye candy or features, it does however have lots and LOTS of bug and security fixes.
