X-Plane 10.50 Flight Simulator Released
A new version of the X-Plane desktop flight simulator, which is arguably the world's most advanced flight simulator, is now available. The Linux version remains in-step with the Windows and OS X builds.
X-Plane 10.50 is the new release available today and it features new city auto-gen, ATC improvements, better AI aircraft, updated airport scenery and more. In total X-Plane 10.50 has 3D scenery for 3,102 different airports.

Remembering Loki's Linux games from the '90s
Linux gamers who go back as far as the 90s might remember Loki Software. The company was responsible for porting some great games to Linux long before anybody thought Linux gaming was viable. Loki’s games included Tribes 2, Rune: Halls of Valhalla, Descent3, Unreal Tournament, SimCity 3000 Unlimited and various other titles. Windscape, a first-person exploration adventure where you play a young girl will come to Linux
The game is currently in Early Access, but it has fully positive reviews as of right now which is a lovely sign of what's to come for us.
The developer mentions they don't want it to become a stat-based RPG and exploration game, so it's much more about the adventure aspect which sounds nice for people who want a change of pace.

I gave it a quick try and it's actually surprisingly engaging. It seems like an extremely simple game at first, but it relies on some really quick reaction times when it heats up a bit so it might actually surprise you.
