Majority of us knew that ATI and NVIDIA were going to stick with their 9-month product refresh timeframe and launch their next generation of GPUs sometime this year. Earlier speculations revealed that both companies would come out with new products towards the end of the year, but it looks like that won't be the case, after all.
Two industry insider sources revealed that both ATI and NVIDIA have plans to unveil their latest graphics solutions at Computex this year, which usually takes place around the beginning of June. Computex is the largest hardware tradeshow, globally.
Though we could not get other specific information like the pricing, availability and final specifications of the GPUs, the information does seem to be rather authentic when referring to previous product launches. Computex is usually the ideal place for hardware manufacturers to introduce their upcoming product lines, therefore, their plans doesn't seem too far off.
