The obnoxious ID3v1/ID3v2 Bug and when EasyTAG comes to rescue
Since I switched from listening music with Winamp (under Windows) to the plethora of Linux music players, I'm pissed off from time to time by a famous ID3 bug, which says:
If a song has a correct ID3v2 tag, but lacks a correct ID3v1 tag, you will most likely see only garbage in the playlists of most music players under Linux.
For some players, I suspect the bug might be in the taglib, because the id3lib works well without any doubt, but some other players, there is a bug in the minds of the developers:
if right-clicking on the song in the list, then choosing to see the tune's info shows the correct IDv2 tag, then why the displayed one is not the same?!
