SuSE 10.1 RC3 or Final
The OpenSuSE Roadmap for their 10.1 release schedule has been updated: It now appears that a RC3 might be in the works and possibly announced on Apr 28.
It's still being quite vague about the final release date by sticking by the open source creedo, 'It will be released when ready.' Actually the Roadmap states, "Further release candidates and the final goldmaster will be announced when ready." There were no further announcements to the mailing lists or forums either at this time.

yeah, it's shaping up nicely. RC2 was looking good, I figured they were about ready to go gold. I'm anxious to see the changelog for rc3 and see what they've improved this time.
Yeah, it's becoming quite the dominant distro. Biggest problem is their lack of multimedia support. I got an email this morning reaffirming that thought today. Too bad that doesn't work out of the box real well and folks end up needing to fiddle with howtos and download/install rpms etc to get full capabilities.
But otherwise, it's killer!
