Big Thank You to All
Despite the economy and decreased traffic, I'd say the donation drive was a success. I saw a lot of familiar names of those who had given before as well as some new ones. Ad revenue was up as well.
After tallying up all the donations, we reached over 75% of average, which is real good because I lost a lot of visitors while I was sick last year. Although the number of donors was at its highest this year I believe. Tuxmachines received several very generous donations this year which was greatly appreciated. Most donations were in the smaller sums though and those certainly add up, so they were appeciated every bit as much.
Also, I know it's a lot to ask to display ads, especially Google ads these days, so thank you to all those that have done so and especially those who chose to start their shopping from one of my ads. Again, a big ole thank you.
And thank you just for visiting. Without visitors, there'd be no point to being here. So, thank you all for putting up with my donation drive. Thanks to all of you our 2013 drive was a success.
(And our Help Support TM link is always up there. We accept donations all year long.)
