Pixel Image Editor Gives Graphics Goodness
Pixel is a multi-award-winning, multi-platform image editor aimed at the Adobe Photoshop market. Its features include layers, a wide range of effects, exporting to Web photo galleries, color management, animation, Web image maps, and more.
While this shareware program is still in development, the price to use it past its demo period is $32, which will more than double once 1.0 is released. Paying now locks this lower price in and covers the user for updates until version 2.0 is released.
There is a demonstration download available that places a "demo" watermark in the background of the art until you pay for the software, at least when you use certain features. Otherwise, nothing is disabled. Paying for the product removes the watermark. Features not yet included, but planned, include:
