gave it up
Well, folks, she died on me. That failing hard drive finally gave up the ghost, so things will be a bit slow around Tuxmachines today.
I have backups and I'm trying to install on this old IDE drive until my new one gets here, (which was supposed to have been Friday). Only thing is, this motherboard really don't like IDE and it's kinda a hack to get them recognized and booted. Wish me luck.
I hate to have to run into town to get something. Things are like twice as much for about 1/2 as good as you can get from online retailers.
But anyway. You should be taking the weekend off anyway. Go play in the snow and get ready for the Superbowl!
