GooBuntu - Googles New OS
After initially downplaying reports that they will release their own operating system, Google has confirmed it is working on a desktop linux project called Goobuntu - a portemanteau of Google and Ubuntu. Ubuntu is a complete Linux-based operating system, freely available with both community and professional support.
Testings are currently ongoing between Google and Dell afterwhich would be pre-installed on 100 million new Dell computers. Dell said they are testing a Google Powered home page, Google Toolbar and Google desktop search.
Unconfirm reports also suggests that part of the test is including Google Pack in Dell machines.
