Open Money- A look at Personal Financial Software for Linux
When it comes to personal financial software choices, the Windows folks have historically had plenty of choices… with a few major ones that seemed obvious. However, the fine folks over on the Linux side of the wall have not had the same corporate weight thrown into its available products, making it a bit harder to choose a decent package.
Since we find that Linux is a great alternative as an operating system, it might be good to know a few good personal finance titles. After all, you have already saved some money on an operating system, so you could probably use that software right now. So let’s take a look at some of our favorites before we spend it all on an office suite. (Wait – are you using the Open Office Suite that came with your Linux Distro? You do have a need for financial software!).
