Mandriva 2010.0 on a Dell Latitude XT
I've been wanting to put Linux on my 12-inch Dell Latitude XT convertible laptop. Now that I have finally finished up my bachelor's degree I am free to nerd it up and install Linux!
I was hoping to see some native tablet support when I installed Linux on this notebook, but I was not surprised to not see it included by default. I've chosento install Mandriva 2010.0 Free with the KDE4 desktop environment. I have only used Gnome for the past four years, so I figured it was time to see how far along KDE had come since then. I'm impressed, but feel a bit out of my comfort zone. I just need time to adjust.
Installation was simple and straight-forward.
