Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

Let us know
Let us know how it goes. I'd like to start working on some rpms for unstable some time next week if I can resolve some other issues with pclos.

You talk the talk, but do you waddle the waddle?
re: Let us know
Well, the packages built once I took kdeaccessibility and kdewebdevelop outta the ebuild and it looks great. I used gentoo's kde-meta method and I was thinking it'd get slow with all the extra stuff I don't use, but it's still lightening fast on my system. I had to mv my .kde directory cuz it was a tad unstable at first, but it's stable now that I moved that. There are new eye candies and features. I really like it. KDE just keeps getting better and better. The only trouble I've seen is getting arts to play the ogg system sound files, no prob with wavs. ymmv. I put a few preliminary screenshots in the gallery, but maybe I'll do a better album when I get home from my real job. Anyway, I give it the big thumbs up!
