Once upon a time there was a pasty-faced geek who lived in his mother's basement and spent his time hacking and collecting online porn. He considered himself an open source expert and took pleasure in displaying his vastly superior knowledge on online forums with such eloquent statements as "RTFM NOOB!"
Late one night this geek stumbled across a blog where someone suggested improvements that could be made to the GNU/Linux desktop. In the comments the geek berated the blogger as a freeloader and then proceeded to share a link to the post on multiple social networks, calling the blogger a leech and a FUD-spreader. Everyone went to look, but the post clearly contained no FUD.
Several nights later, while downing a box of powdered gem donuts, the geek came across news that a national chain of electronics stores would be training its employees on how to steer people away from GNU/Linux and towards Windows. The geek broadcast this news far and wide, announcing the FUD-training stategy and even calling for a boycott and protests of the store.
