Netbooks and where the future takes them
Netbooks seem to be a growing trend in today's market. They're a low budget computer that allow you to do basic stuff like surfing the web, writing documents and a little more. However, are they really useful for those whose computer needs are more than surfing the web?
These machines seem to follow a pattern in the hardware they have: an intel atom processor with 1.6GHz clock speed, 1GB ram DDR2 667 and a 10" design. Some have hardware that is a little different (bigger or smaller design, more or less ram, etc.), but most are built like this. These are really low specs, that allow for little more than document editing and web surfing. However, these computers are sold at a low price too, usually around 300$, and this is probably the main reason why they're really popular, and that caused them to basically become a modern trend.
But these laptops don't seem very useful for people who want to do more than surf the web.
