Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

typical brand asociation
we see it all the time in other commercial product associations. like...
for who knows how long, for many people a reciprocating saw is a "Sawzall" (brand manufactured by Milwaukee).
for vacuum equivalence, most people have heard the "sucks like an Electrolux" brand reference.
there are lots more, I just can't remember any right now.
Big Bear
edit, it occurred to me after posting this, you might be referring to the squawk about the companies activities not just the phrase "let me google that"
re: brand association
Yeah, I mean all the coverage of every move google makes. ...and all the drooling and ass kissing.
I mean they invented a mighty fine search yeah, but beyond that I don't like any one company having so much data or power. and they're expanding their territory every day. my spideyhairs are prickling.
re: two of us?
Two of us(atang1) got on Tux this morning? Logged onto two servers?
huh?
re: twice
Oh I see. Yeah, I see that happen on occasion with random usernames. I have no idea why, what's malfunctioning, but given the flakey nature of some of drupal's code I've never worried too much about it. I know it happens sometimes when one will log into tuxmachines.org then uses www.tuxmachines.org next time. I've tried to minimize that with a rewrite. It can happen with two active browsers too I think - like being logged into with Firefox and Konqueror at the same time.
However, I seriously doubt anyone else using your account. You could change the password if you're concerned, but only one IP address has accessed your login today - starts with 69.87....
re: cookies
Perhaps, it is because I used two computers in sequence with two cookies. One had to manually log in.
Yep, that sounds like it.
Google sickness is just a state of mind honest.
I had the same problem about a year ago with Google the whole world... So my brain and I came to a tacit agreement for our sanities sake.
Whenever I see the word Google (I had to type these with eyes closed) then dear old brain converts by ROT13 or some clever trick and I see Meddle. Yup.
So I am typing in this comment box from within my Chromey Meddle browser another tab is open to my meddle wave pages and I expect some meddle mail soon from readers of this comment. So please Dear TuxMachine friends you have it in your power to change Go// Meddle to whatever forever. OMG the power. LOL Have a great day.
Awsum.............
