Sabayon Gets new Servers
Finally Fabio gave me the pics of the server, and finally I’ve found some time to publish those pics! As we said on the website, thanks to your donations, the end of the fundraiser allowed us to buy the new servers. And now you can see how we spend your money to give you a better service and the best linux distro ever!
With the money (3000 €) we bought and installed two servers:
* WWW server: Dell PowerEdge R200 w/Dual Core CPU, 2/4GB RAM, HW RAID1, 1TB HDx2
* 2nd Entropy Server: Dell PowerEdge R200 w/Quad Core CPU, 4GB RAM, HW RAID1, 1TB HDx2
And thank to the University of Milan – D.I.S.C.O. Department for giving us the housing of the WWW Server (where Fabio took the pics).
Unluckily, Fabio got the pics with the cellphone, and it’s better as developer than as a photographer. Noone is perfect! Here comes the pics!
