openSUSE 10.3 end-of-life announced
Marcus Meissner, the teamleader of the SUSE Security Team, has announced that the 31st of October, 2009 will be the end-of-life (EOL) date for openSUSE 10.3.
Originally released in October of 2007, the 10.3 release of openSUSE featured the 2.6.22 Linux kernel and included KDE 3.5.7, GNOME 2.20 and OpenOffice.org 2.3. After the 31st of October, no new updates, including security updates and critical fixes, will be available for openSUSE 10.3 and the distribution directory, followed by the update tree, on their server download.opensuse.org will be removed.
