It seems to me to be a common theme of comparing Linux and open source against the big bad proprietary companies. This theme is focusing on one software solution pitted against another software solution. It all seems to be windows against Linux and Linux against windows. Quite frankly (what Frank has to do with it I don't know) it is all just postulating and out of joint noses.
As the title suggests, Linux is not about what you see on the screen. It is more a way of thinking. No I am not going to use the 'R' word although some zealous advocates use that sort of approach. Nor am I going to use the 'P' word as Linux is nothing to do with communism or democracy. I would consider it more of a philosophical way of thinking.
Even the originator of Linux, Linus Torvalds, does not buy into the whole "us and them", cat fighting scene.
