5 reasons why I like Evolution!
I’m of course talking about the email app that comes with the Gnome desktop in most every Linux distro on the planet. Evolution provides integrated mail, address book and calendaring functionality to Linux users in much the same way as Outlook does for Windows users. Except for one major thing, they’re very much alike. Evolution is free! I’m going to list my 5 top reasons why I like Evolution below. Maybe after reading mine, you might feel like listing yours!
1. Yes, I said free. M/S’s Outlook will set you back around $87 +/- plus Evolution isn’t the virus magnet that Outlook is so you also save on those yearly payments to the anti-virus program makers too. That’s more savings!
2. Via one of the many plugins for Evolution, I can sync up with my Calendar on Google.
