Dell bets on Linux to capture enterprise market
In the Wintel-systems market, Dell is king of the hill. But what do you do when your hill just isn't big enough?
"To some extent, Dell is seen as more of an SMB kind of player," says Judy Chavis, director of business development for the enterprise products group at Dell.
If Dell is to continue to grow, making inroads into the enterprise market is essential. Chavis wants the world to know that her group is doing just that, with the help of an unlikely ally: Linux.

In the odd chance that a Dell flunky reads this....
DELL'S SERVICE SUCKS (AS IN BLOWS, STINKS, AIN'T WORTH A SHIT, ETC)
I used to be a HUGE Dell fan (10 years or so ago) and recommended them to anyone that asked my opinion on what to buy, but for the last 10 years quality has turned mediocre and their service SUCKS.
I would NEVER, EVER buy a DELL, and tell everyone I can to run away fast from any piece of shit DELL is hawking at the moment. I threatened to quit a current contract if they insisted on buying Dell for the project. I can't write enough about how much DELL SUCKS.
Linux will not change the fact, here's an idea, FIX YOUR FREAKING SUPPORT DEPT. because if you haven't got the message yet IT SUCKS.
