UCK! Eight steps to a new distribution
When I see those three letters, UCK, it immediately comes to mind that something nasty happened. As in EEEWWW, URK or YUCK which are the sounds you generally make when you step into something that definitely doesn't smell like a rose. However in this instance this UCK'y thing is actually quite sweet.
UCK stands for "Ubuntu Customization Kit" and you can find out all there is to know about it here. There is not a lot on the website and not a lot of documentation. Their philosophy seems to be that if you don't know what we are talking about then you shouldn't be meddling Still, there should be a lot more documentation.
So what does UCK (pronounced I think as "you see kay") do?
