Power browsing with the best Firefox add-ons
At Tectonic we love Firefox (and so do most of our readers). Over the course of 2007 we reviewed many of the best Firefox extensions available and now, as the year-end closes in, we offer the top-five of these that we could simply not live without.
Tab Mix Plus
We initially recommended Tabs Open Relative as a great tool for managing all the Firefox tabs we have open every day. But readers quickly pointed out Tab Mix Plus and we haven’t looked back. Tab Mix Plus does pretty much anything you can think of but our favourites are the progress bar built into each tab, the ability to lock tabs so we don’t accidentally close that all important site, the tab history features and the many options available to configure how and where new tabs are opened.
