Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

Excellent review of Mandriva, Nice New Site Design, But...
Just a tiny little request if I may...
Can visited links be distinguished using other colour/s? It's my one and only way to know if I revisit pages unnecessarily. Thanks for your consideration.
re: But...
thanks for saying about the review.
Hopefully the new theme is a bit faster. I think the other one was a bit heavy cuz it had to render and send a bunch of invisible gifs to simulate those rounded corners. I'm trying to wget the google analytics code and source locally to see if that helps any.
I think I have the visited links showing darker, but the main story titles don't change in konqueror - I don't know why. Konqueror users will have to glance down at the 'Read more' link.
Back to the old theme?
I see the older theme is back. Either way, that's cool.
re: old theme
yeah, I couldn't get that other one just the way I wanted and it didn't seem any faster anyway. So, back to the same ole same.
Right move, IMHO
In my blogs/CMSs, I haven't changed the style for years. Visual identity, preserved through consistency, is very important. The only thing that bothers me (just very slightly) is that I sometimes have to squint in order to tell apart visited from unvisited URLs. The colours are very similar.
EDIT/PS: oops. Looking at the thread again, I repeated myself.
re: links
well, the visited links were just almost black as they were, so I lightened the links to where they should be several shades lighter than the visited. Hopefully that will help.
I've noticed. It's
I've noticed. It's fantastic, thanks!
