Ubuntu Linux 6.06 Christian Edition
One of the virtues of Linux is that there's pretty much a version of it for everybody. From regular Ubuntu to Gentoo to Berry Linux to Fedora to Damn Small Linux, there's something out there for virtually all types of Linux users. So I was intrigued to discover that there is a Christian version of the extremely popular Ubuntu Linux distribution.
Please note that this review is a bit different, as I will be focusing mostly on what sets this version apart from the regular, non-Christian version of Ubuntu. If you just want a general overview of the distro, be sure to read my earlier review of Ubuntu Linux 6.06.
Religion on ExtremeTech?
Before I get into the details of this review, I want to note that some folks might be irritated or surprised that we're covering a version of Linux with a religious slant. Personally, I don't see the problem with it as we aren't trying to convert anybody to Christianity or any other faith, and people of all faiths (and people without faith) are always welcome here at ExtremeTech. So don't let the Christian slant bother you if you aren't a Christian.
