Cloudera Allies with Red Hat and Eurotech for Open IoT
Cloudera, Red Hat and Eurotech are coming together to speed up IoT application development.
Cloudera, Red Hat and Eurotech are debuting an open modular architecture that promises to substantially reduce the time required to build Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
Designed to integrate stacks of open source software being developed under the auspices of the Apache Software Foundation and the Eclipse Foundation, the framework is intended to make it both simpler to ingest data into a Big Data platform as well as deploy artificial intelligence (AI) models based on that data at the network edge to drive real-time analytics, says Dave Shuman, IoT and manufacturing leader for Cloudera.

Red Hat collaborates with Redis Labs to deliver pre-built and packaged offering to run Redis Enterprise as a stateful service on OpenShift
Redis Labs announced on Tuesday collaboration with Red Hat to make Redis Enterprise available as a hosted and fully-managed database service on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, with built-in support for Kubernetes Operators.
This collaboration enables joint customers to more deploy and manage the multi-model Redis Enterprise database as a stateful Kubernetes service, with a goal of enabling customers to automate database management, streamline operations, deliver cloud portability and simplify application development.

Nexign collaborates with Red Hat to help service providers accelerate digital transformation
Nexign, a leading business support system (BSS) provider for communications service providers (CSPs), has announced its new Red Hat OpenStack Certification. Now, Nexign Network Monetisation Suite (NWM_PCRF, NWM_OCS, and NWM DRA), which offers a universal product for real-time pricing, billing and policy management, has been certified as tested and compatible with the Red Hat OpenStack Platform. This makes it possible to launch an NWM product on a hardware platform running Red Hat OpenStack Platform as a virtual network function (VNF).
