Reiser Pleads Not Guilty to Murdering His Wife
The estranged husband of a missing woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to her murder.
Hans Reiser, 42, appeared in Alameda County Superior Court briefly to enter the plea to a sole count of murder. The computer software engineer remains held without bail at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
Reiser was arrested in October, about a month after his wife disappeared. Authorities have said they found Nina Reiser's blood in his home and car. The body of the Russian immigrant, however, has not been found.
A preliminary hearing was set for Dec. 11.
