Maxta Announces Support for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
Last week hyperconvergence software provider Maxta Inc. announced its support for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat Virtualization. Combined with its tooling that enables customers to migrate from VMware vSphere to Red Hat Virtualization, customers can then continue to support containers on the same platform.
According to the announcement, the Maxta infrastructure will allow customers "to run a mix of hypervisors and containers on the same hyperconvergence platform" so that each type of abstraction won't need a separate infrastructure. This simplifies the customers' virtual platforms while also giving the flexibility needed to adapt to evolving technology.
