Get Crontab Output in Ubuntu via E-mail
Having troubles getting your crontab’s output in Ubuntu? Constantly checking your email for a non-existent email? Turns out you might just be missing a message.
1) First of all, check if you even have crontabs set up. Type/paste this command into Terminal:
crontab -l
If nothing show up, your problem is clear: you have no crontabs to get output from.
2) If you actually get something from the above command, you’ll have to install a package via apt-get.
