Planet Nomads is about to get a lot more interesting
In the release on November 9th, the developers updated the game with planet customization enabling you to further modify the experience. This includes planet size, night length, water level and so on. On top of that, they've improved how the survival mode works to be more reactive and more responsive. Seeing how you're affected by various conditions, like poor weather will become a lot more apparent.

Open Jam leaves a mark with 45 game entries and 3 big winners
In early October 2017, the inaugural Open Jam, a video game jam focused on open source game development, took place. Creators were given 72 hours to build a video game from scratch using the best of the open source world. It was a fantastic weekend, with 45 games created and entered into the jam, and three outstanding entries making it to the final competition. Thanks to a user comment on one of our older articles, we've been informed that The Signal From Tölva [Official Site] is now on Linux on Steam. I've checked myself and it does download and launch. Going by SteamDB, it was added a day ago with no word from the developer.
