Wireless IoT gateway features Linux/Java programming stack

Calao unveiled a modular “Delta P100” IoT gateway with a Linux/Java OSGI programming stack, plus WiFi, 3G/4G, LoRa, SigFox, and other wireless options. French embedded firm Calao Systems, which we last heard from in September with its Tegra K1-based SMC-NTKE1 SMARC module, has now spun its first Internet of Things gateway. This low-powered Delta P100 runs Debian Linux on the lowly, 700MHz ARM11 SoC that launched a million Raspberry Pi’s: the Broadcom BCM2835. The device is manufactured by Calao partner Eolane. Read more
