Qt 5.3 Will Hopefully Be Released Early Next Week

If all goes according to plan, we will see the official Qt 5.3 unveiling next Tuesday, 20 May. A new snapshot was released today to encourage last minute testing. If nothing serious is found, today's snapshot will be the final packages otherwise Digia will need to spin new packages and this will push back Tuesday's release.

Android shipments in 2014 exceed 1 billion for first time

Google's Android mobile operating system has reached a major milestone. For the first time ever, worldwide shipments of smartphones packing Android exceeded 1 billion units in 2014, a significant gain from the 780.8 million units that shipped around the world in 2013, researcher Strategy Analytics announced Thursday.
