OpenMandriva's "Get a Face" Finalists Chosen

Well the public has had its say and now it's up to the committee. A recent OpenMandriva announcement said, "Vote for a Face! has ended, and public has pronounced its favorites. Now is time for OpenMandriva Association (OMA) to choose the Final Logo for the Association."

The logo above is one of the finalists chosen. It was proposal number 13 from rugyada & PeterM and it came in sixth place. Yes indeed, it was one of my favorites and is one of the nicest.

Another one of my favorites came in first actually. Remember the crisp and clean gray and blue entry from emanueleeeee that I said "was bound to be a contender?" And so it is:

CUPS 2.2.3 Adds Support for PPD Finishing Keywords, IPP Everywhere Improvements

CUPS 2.2.3 is the third point release to the stable 2.2 series of the project, bringing a bunch of IPP Everywhere improvements, such as support for all print qualities and media types that a printer supports, in the print queues. Additionally, it makes IPP Everywhere finishings support work correctly with common command-line and UI (User Interface) options, and updates the PPD generator to return helpful error messages.
