17 operators, 4 handset makers commit to Firefox OS

Firefox OS may be up for a good start with 17 operators wowing to support the nascent platform. These diverse group will make Firefox OS-based devices available in a number of countries.

As for the handset maker support, we’ve already seen Alcatel and ZTE unveiling their phones, and it’s also said that LG and Huawei will launch their products later this year.
