As Canonical unleashed the first Alpha version of the upcoming Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) operating system earlier today, we've taken it for a test drive and reported the new features.

Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 1 is powered by Linux kernel 3.4 and features the newly released Mozilla Firefox 13.0 as the default web browser and Mozilla Thunderbird 13.0 as the default email client.
