Sabayon Linux 8 review
Sabayon is a distribution based on the Gentoo version of Linux. One of the aims of Sabayon is to make the initial installation of Gentoo painless, and they succeed in that.
Installation
Sabayon installed quickly and easily. This edition is more minimal – they put enough on to get you started, but figure that you prefer to make your own choices for most tasks.
After installation you get the following desktop:
The Applications menu is at the top left, and immediately to its right is a “Places” button, with the “Application Finder” and “Log Out Dialog” buttons next.
