re: Google +
Yeah, lets all be unique TOGETHER.
What a bunch of sheeple.
Did they learn nothing since AOL?
Or how music has all turned to crap now that most radio stations are owned by a handful of companies.
Before this social media cluster frack, sites worked on their own branding. Now like mindless drones all their efforts are going towards building the social media's brand.
What a bunch of morons. Good luck living with someone elses decisions, this is just the tip of the iceberg until it's all just one big website.
Have fun differentiating your market share then.
We’re At Google+
We have a google page for PCLinuxOS. http://goo.gl/QdZnz
I see other distros there too.
Say Baaaaaaaaaaaaaa
google+ is cool
I can see why you would not use any social media being so anti-social. hahahaha
Google Plus is okay.
My LUG starting using Google plus after the one guy in the group with social skills moved away. Now every meeting has a "Hangout" element, and it's made our meetings a lot more lively, as people from all over join in. It became even more important when area flooding damaged the building where we have our meetings.
A friend died last week, and as I helped his sister make the arrangements, I discovered a funeral home that has a page on Facebook.
There are good and bad uses of social media, and i think we'll be sorting them out for a long time.
