Diet Coke with Splenda

I used to be a big (HUGE) regular coke drinker (several cans per day), then I gave up all unnecessary sugar and switched to diet coke (blech).

Luckily Coke came out with Coke Zero (good, but a bit sharp for my personal preference) and Diet Coke with Splenda which to me tastes great (and a tad sweeter then Coke Zero).

Now I can indulge my unending thirst for bubbly drinks (with caffeine of course) and not gain unwanted pounds (tons) or turn into a raging diabetic.

Good Job Coke!

I'll have to try that one! Big Grin

dangerous?

I have seen coke become highly corrosive when heated and eat through the can without much effort. (throwing coke can on camp fire with small amount of coke left) i wouldn't advise doing this with a metal container (or for that matter putting anything metal in a microwave). I may be wrong so your welcome to try it and see if you can prove me wrong.

PS I cannot be held responsible for any of your actions and I don't condone trying this

Have you ever tried colas heated almost boiling by microwave oven to intensify the taste?

ewwe, nooo.

I love it, especially you can water them down to taste or heating them up for zest. You could also heat and add instant jello to thicken them, what with cherry, lemon or even strawberries? Ever tried adding instant pudding or Oatmeal? Wow, for rich colas? Or fake Frape in Boston or milk shake colas, black cow?

I've always suspected, but now you've confirmed it - You are a strange person atang! Big Grin

Coke rules!

You missed off store brand cola, lol but good old coke wins out for me every day, esp lemon coke Tongue Yum

Coke, best drink ever!

I agree, coke wins for sure! Store cola is good, it's cheap, but it's not "as good" Smile
I remember years ago when they used to make that contest at our amusement park where you had to find out which one was coke, pepsi and store brand.
Can't believe people didn't see the difference Tongue

Migrating to Linux: Network and System Settings

Linux gives you a lot of control over network and system settings. On your desktop, Linux lets you tweak just about anything on the system. Most of these settings are exposed in plain text files under the /etc directory. Here I describe some of the most common settings you’ll use on your desktop Linux system. A lot of settings can be found in the Settings program, and the available options will vary by Linux distribution. Usually, you can change the background, tweak sound volume, connect to printers, set up displays, and more. While I won't talk about all of the settings here, you can certainly explore what's in there. Read more
