A Linux User Tries Mac OS X
Over the years, I've come very close to giving OS X serious consideration for replacing my existing Linux PCs. Yet ultimately, even considering the fact that my wife owns a Mac, I've found that a Mac's benefits simply aren't there for me.
Recently I decided to look into my mindset a little more closely. I think that sharing some of the stopping points that keep me from switching to OS X might be interesting and worth intelligent discussion.
After all, it's not like there’s an absence of Apple products in my home. My wife enjoys her iMac every day and both of us use iPhones. So it should be obvious that I have no animosity toward Apple or OS X. I merely weighed out what matters to me as an end-user of a product.
