New Nvidia Linux Driver Brings Support for GNOME 3 and KDE SC 4
A few minutes ago, June 14th, Nvidia launched version 275.09.07 of its graphics driver for Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD operating systems, which brings improved support for the GNOME 3 desktop environment and KDE SC 4.6.
Highlights of Nvidia Display Driver 275.09.07:
· Fixed GNOME 3 desktop corruption for VT-switch or resume/suspend cycle;
· Fixed KDE SC 4 freeze and crashes issues when using Xorg Server 1.10 and the desktop effects were enabled;
· Support for the GL_EXT_x11_sync_object extension was added;
