Opera hits 150 million users
MOBILE BROWSER FIRM Opera has sort of announced that it now has some 150 million users of its Internet browser and perhaps taken the day off to celebrate.
The firm hit the heady heights this lunchtime and took the unusual step of declaring its success by replicating its CEOs inbox on the Opera company homepage.
So, as well as learning that Jon von Tetzchner likes a band called King Fantastic, fields emails sent to Oprah via opera@opera.com, and apparently corresponds with the guys at Wikileaks, we also know that the firm's PR team has taken the day off.
