Ubuntu 10.04: review
I've been using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx for a week now, and I can make a short review of what to expect in the new version of this Linux distribution.
Looks
The first thing one notice is the change in looks of the desktop. The theme is darker with less brown and a dark purple background. The change is refreshing and it looks professional, but personally the dark bars make my screen look smaller and I feel a little claustrophobic. A quick change in the Preference/Apparence help a lot with that, there also you can find new themes. Besides that the new icons, notifications and in general looks of the desktop are an improvement of the last version, with a brand new GNOME 2.30 desktop environment.
