First Look – Mandriva 2010.1 beta 1 – Gnome Edition

The first beta release of Mandriva 2010.1 has been made available for testing. Being fans of the 2010 release (it was, in our opinion, Mandriva's best to date) we were eager to see what kind of progress is being made on their next stable release.

Not much has changed in the installation process but considering how well it already works, there wasn't much that needs to be changed anyway.

Mandriva have made some changes to the look of this release with the introduction of a new set of icons and a more refined overall look on the desktop:
