Confessions of a Distro Hopper
Hi. My name is Robin, and I'm a Linux distro-hop-aholic (pause for the "Hi Robin"). But I'm doing better lately. It's been two whole months since I've hopped! But what a ride the last nine months has been! Since I first discovered Linux, I hopped almost once a month until just before Thanksgiving. There was Ubuntu, U-Lite, PCLinuxOS, Sidux, Crunchbang Linux, Linux Mint, Mepis, Masonux, Debian, and Xubuntu. What's a non-geeky boy like me think he's doing with all these Linux distributions anyway? And "Robin's Remix!" What was that all about? Have I turned into a geek?!
Nope. I still require uber-simplicity and a sweet, elegant, intuitive interface. Part of my exploration was just to experiment with different desktop environments. Y'see, with Linux, you have a choice!
