Stop this GNOME 3.0 Tabs Stupidity!
I really hope this GNOME 3.0 Tabs “mania” is a prank, because it just seems so, sooooo stupid. Really. It’s like flushing down the toilet all of the UI simplicity that GNOME is supposedly aiming for. Here is a mock-up of a future TabsGNOME 3.0 release if you have not imagined what it will look like already…
Why the hell would I want to have Tabs in my movie player? Am I going to watch two things at the same time?

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |
