Interview with Bruce Perens
Bruce Perens, a very public Open Source advocate, and a co-founder of Software in the Public Interest, says Open Source could prove to be even more attractive in the future, as commercial software looks to protect company interests over those of the user.
But, to take advantage of these opportunities Open Source must provide better security and less confusing (and threatening) licensing climates. Nathaniel Brown, an Open Source evangelist in Canada, caught up with Perens and asked him about how Open Source can improve security, as well as other areas to keep enterprise managers interested in the Open Source option.
