PCLinuxOS 2007 Gnome Remaster - Versatile Personality with a Simple Look

I have been looking for official PCLinuxOS Gnome version since 2005. Thanks God it’s now in the making. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to say when it will be slated for the big showdown.

By the way, I came across a Gnome remaster of PCLinuxOS 2007 at www.linuxgator.org
KDE, the default desktop for PCLinuxOS is good, but I prefer the Gnome desktop for my home. Because, it is fast and simple.

Let’s discuss how it is different from PCLinuxOS KDE versions.

The Libreboot C201 from Minifree is really really really ridiculously open source

Open source laptops – ones not running any commercial software whatsoever – have been the holy grail for free software fans for years. Now, with the introduction of libreboot, a truly open source boot firmware, the dream is close to fruition.
