re: Dell/Ubuntu

Blah here as well.
I'm guessing half those people who will buy the cheaper Dell (because it's preinstalled with linux and not windows) will format and install a pirated windows. That's just my opinion.

A good news

I'm a Dell customer. I definitely switched to linux 2 months ago. I tested MEPIS. I learn a lot from his forum. The most friendly forum I ever met. I love Ubuntu and now I have kubuntu installed on my Dell Inspiron. I'm very happy that Dell choice is for Ubuntu. It could mean for me a complete hardware support for my kubuntu.
