PCLOS Gnome Project
This is just a note that a fairly new project is in the works at MyPCLinuxOS to offer PC Linux OS Gnome 2.18. I am only a tester and our team has not yet released an official test .iso featuring Gnome 2.18. Our Dev's will not be officially releasing anything until the system is as bug free as is possible - in line with the main PCLOS and Texstars philosophy. Stay tuned for updates if this is a project of interest to you.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources. The company also announced it was partnering with Red Hat to ensure these technologies have Linux compatibility. |

Thanks for the update
I just hope the site goes live quite soon. Almost a fortnight has gone by.
re: pclos update
They are working on it. They've secured a host and the os is installed. The crew is currently working on installing the cms and database. They will probably finish before the weekend, possibly tomorrow. Tex is updating rpms, testing builds, and sync'in to servers so that TR4 can be put out about the time the site goes live. There is the delay of the DNS tho. So, really about all that we can guarantee is that they are working on it.
Thanks. Some friends
Thanks. Some friends wondered about it yesterday (people already taking the 'RIP card'), so I posted a link to this page.
