The next release of DXVK for Vulkan-based D3D11 with Wine will use per-game configuration files
The goal with this, as the developer said, is to improve game compatibility out of the box for those of you running some of your favourite Windows-only games with DXVK + Wine. DXVK will have some defaults for specifics games (a little like the Mesa whitelist for certain games needing specific tweaks), but it can be overridden by a config file which you can see an example of on their wiki.

DXVK Proposal for Vulkan-Based D3D9 to D3D11 Conversion Possibly Underway
The DXVK project, which brings Vulkan-based D3D11 implementation for Linux / Wine, has been doing great things in regards to performance and optimization when running Direct3D 11 games under Wine – and now they’re bringing Direct3D 9 support as well.

Samsung, Red Hat to Work on Linux Drivers for Future TechThe metaverse is expected to uproot system design as we know it, and Samsung is one of many hardware vendors re-imagining data center infrastructure in preparation for a parallel 3D world. Samsung is working on new memory technologies that provide faster bandwidth inside hardware for data to travel between CPUs, storage and other computing resources.
